We believe that both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired infallible Word of God, revealing the three Persons of the Godhead:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21;
Luke 3:21-22

We believe in the historical creation of man - that man was created in the image of God, but because of sinful nature, separated from God.  Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:1-12, 23

We believe in the absolute deity, virgin birth, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection and literal return of Jesus Christ.  John 1:1; Philippians 2:5-8; John 14:9-10; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18, 22, 23; Isaiah 53:5,6; 1 Peter 2:24; Luke 24:1-8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 14:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; John 5:28,29

We believe that man is redeemed by grace through faith in Christ's vicarious atonement for sin, the shedding of His blood on the cross, and that the gift of eternal life is available to all men who receive Christ and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.  John 3:16; Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; Matthew 10:32,33; Romans 10:9,10; Acts 22:16; Colossians 2:6,7; Revelation 2:10

Jarvisburg Christian Academy

Why is Christian education essential for today's students? We believe that the Word of God and its message of redeeming grace through faith in Jesus Christ is the only adequate foundation for education!  A properly focused education views all knowledge in light of Biblical truth.

  • Award-wining curriculum for grades Pre-K through 12 offers a Christian world-view!
  • Small class sizes allow for individual attention to meet student needs!
  • Field trips enhance student learning through museums, plays, concerts, and other special events!

Jarvisburg Christian Academy opened in August 2007!  We serve students in grades Pre-K(4) through 12, and our curriculum promotes academic excellence with a Biblical world view!  The JCA faculty and staff provide personalized teacher instruction, tutoring, and mentoring for each of our students.

JCA students have consistently demonstrated high academic growth in five core subjects over a thirteen-year period.  Each year students at every grade level are administered nationally standardized tests (currently Terra Nova, 3rd edition), and 80% or more of the student population have scored at or above the national average range annually.  In addition,

  • Students in JCA's high school program have successfully participated in dual enrollment partnerships with colleges and as a result have earned college credits while still enrolled in high school.

  • JCA graduates have been accepted at many institutions of higher education, including Appalachian State University East Carolina University, Mid-Atlantic Christian University, UNC - Ashville, and UNC - Greensboro.

JCA serves students with a variety of learning needs, including specific learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder.
